Easy homemade drinks if you’re missing coffee shops, from a barista
Honey Matcha Latte
Ingredients
Matcha Powder
Honey
Your favorite milk or non-dairy milk substitute
Equipment
Matcha whisk
Fine siv
Heat resistant bowl
Kettle
French press
Heat-resistant glass for your beverage
Recipe
Sift 2 grams (1tsp) of matcha powder into a heat-resistant bowl, add 70ml (2oz) of 160-170℉ water, whisk until frothy, pour into your mug or glass
Heat 250ml (8oz) of milk until warm, 140℉ if you're using a thermometer. Stir in 1Tbsp of honey.
Pour heated milk mixture into french press, then gently push the strainer up and down multiple times to froth the milk. Be very careful to not over froth, as the milk is quite hot.
Pour milk into the matcha in your mug.
Enjoy!
Notes: An electric frother is a good substitute for both the matcha whisk and the french press. Just be sure to vigorously move the matcha around while frothing to fully incorporate.

Notes
Many local coffee shops are selling cold brew in large containers, some even fill half-gallon growlers, so if you have a favorite cold brew check on that! This is a great recipe if you're having a social-distancing grill-out as it serves 4-6 and comes together really quickly!
